In the warm summer months people from Valle San Giovanni often head over to the local swimming hole.  It can be found at a location on the nearby Tordino River, on the way to the village of Varano.   Here one will always find water that is fresh and pure.  There are places to dive into the water as well as rocks that serve as platforms for sunbathing.  Che bello!  



To go to the swimming hole one need only follow the road to Cortino, past the cemetery.  It is located only a bit more than one kilometer from the village center.
